Not all therapeutic lasers are created equal!
There is an enormous difference in efficacy of different laser machines.
We’ve added K-Laser therapy to our practice, because we want to provide a safe and effective treatment option for our patients to heal quickly, recover fully, and reduce pain effectively.
- The wavelengths selected by K-Laser are proven to be effective and safe in laboratory and clinical studies.
- K-Laser’s Class IV diodes deliver effective dosages to deeper tissues, and shorten treatment times.
- K-Laser is FDA and EU safety regulated equipment allowed to be safely used as a human therapeutic biostimulatory laser.
- The K-Laser is currently the only laser available which targets damaged tissue with such specific and wide-ranging therapeutic wavelengths.
Q: How do I know if I need laser treatment?
A: Your chiropractor will discuss this with you before your treatment, after they have assessed your condition. If appropriate, they can treat you straight away.
Q: How long are the treatments?
A: Depending on which area of the body is treated, they apply the laser for between 4 to 10 minutes. Often laser treatment is included in your appointment, given alongside manual and other chiropractic treatments that we offer.
Q: How often would I need treatment?
A: It’s typically twice a week for 3 weeks, though some conditions, particularly if they’re acute, may only require 2 sessions. Each individual patient and case is different.
Q: I’ve had a knee replacement – does that mean I can’t have laser therapy?
A: K-Laser treatment is safe to deliver over bones with metal implants, broken skin, and on acute, swollen injuries.
Q: I’ve had my back pain for years. Can laser help?
A: It’s unlikely that chronic pain will disappear completely. But isn’t it great that there’s now a natural, holistic treatment option that heals the body rather than simply masking the symptoms?
